To prevent the decomposition rate of oxygenated water, a stabilizer (usually stannate) is needed. In industry, higher concentrations of hydrogen peroxide are used as a bleaching agent for textiles and paper, as part of rocket fuel, and for producing floor rubber and organic chemicals
